Who:   Everyone interested in opening a food/retail kiosk or cart in the City of Atlanta.

What: Visit to learn about the City of Atlanta’s Public Vending Program and register for the Public Vending Lottery where the City will award the available cart and kiosk vending locations designated in the public right of way. View map of available locations at

Why:  You must follow this process in order to start a vending (cart or kiosk, food/retail) business within the City of Atlanta. Please see this tip list.

When: Wednesday, March 15th at 12:00 pm

Where:   ATLStat Room, Ground Floor                                                                                                                                                                           Atlanta City Hall                                                                                                                                                                                                 55 Trinity Avenue, SW                                                                                                                                                                                        Atlanta, GA 30303

How:  1) You must first register by March 14th at 12 pm to participate in the annual lottery;

  2) Attend the lottery on March 15th at the address provided above;

  3) IF you win a spot at this lottery, complete this application packet (See pages 22-23).

Additional Information:

            READ about the vending program to understand the requirements;

            LOOK at the available City of Atlanta locations for your vending site;

            REGISTER with basic contact information to participate in the lottery;

            FIND the Vending Application here (See pages 22-23), do this IF you win a vending location on March 15th.

           * An Information session for lottery winners will take place in March.

Cost: Registration for the lottery is free. If selected, the Public Vending Permit application fee is $145. Kiosk vendors must also pay a $2500 annual maintenance fee. Cart vendors must provide their own cart that meets Fulton County Health Department and the City’s design requirements (See specific cart requirements on pages 10-14).
